Titlewars Preview: Wrestlemania XXIX

Post by GM Bike » Sun Apr 07, 2013 12:48 am

WWE Heavyweight Championship
The Rock (c) vs. John Cena

Axelrikky (c) vs. 41 Opponents

Axelrikky won the coveted WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble from Cruel Britannia who had a dominating run as Champion for 400+ days. Axelrikky cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase and won thanks to THE most electrifying man! Now his 69 day reign will most likely end as The Rock takes on Super Cena at the granddaddy of 'em all! With probably a record 41 people taking John Cena to win, with times ranging from 10:52 to as high as 44:33, it doesn't look good for the champ! There is more of a chance at selecting a perfect NCAA Bracket (a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000+) than Cena losing... so what I'm saying is there's a chance!

World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter

the plow (c) vs. Macho Maddness

the plow is back defending his World Championship against a well dressed man in Macho Maddness. After winning the Royal Rumble (Money In The Bank), Macho Maddness didn't waste any time in cashing in on the biggest opportunity at the biggest stage! Just days ago the announcement was made, and we now have a World Heavyweight Title match!

Intercontinental Championship - Pre-Show
Wade Barrett (c) vs. The Miz

GM Bike (c) vs. defaulta316

In the first of two title defenses for GM Bike, only one person selected The Miz to win the IC Title at Wrestlemania and that individual is defaulta316! There's something to be said about non-forum members winning Titles (it stinks!) Will GM Bike make it to the century mark, 100 days as Champion or will defaulta316 crush the dream that is so close yet so far away!?

WWE World Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston

Superlicious comprised of GM Bike & 3pointtally, have held the WWE World Tag Team Championship belts since May 23, 2011, almost 700 days! And boy did they luck out huge as a random pairing of Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston take on Kane & Daniel Bryan. Time is running out for existing picks, however there is still one viable option that could ruin the epic Title Reign, and that is Hug It Out consisting of Macho Maddness & legendkiller003, who have Team Rhodes Scholars still in play. Could an upset take place and re-open registration!? Or will the beat go on!?

*Unofficial Matches*
United States Championship
Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. ??

leigha (c) vs. Matt Sin, stinger, Banzai, GM Bike, Macho Maddness or SeeDub

In an odd turn of events leigha may be off the hook as no match has been announced yet for the United States Championship. So unless there is an open challenge at Wrestlemania and any of the following individuals win: Brodus Clay, Heath Slater, Kassius Ohno, Ted Dibiase, Ryback or Sin Cara, then leigha's impressive reign will continue, currently at 397 days!!

Divas Championship
Kaitlyn (c) vs. ??

Franchise (c) vs. Several Opponents

The other Title not on the card is the Divas Championship held by arguably the greatest Titlewars player in Franchise. There are several picks for AJ & Tamina to win at Wrestlemania. So similar to the US Championship, unless there is an open challenge and Kaitlyn loses, then Franchise will remain your Divas Champion!
First & ONLY 6, 7 AND 8-Time Stablewars Champion
17-Time Titlewars Champion, Current Tri-Champion (NXT/ROH Tag & ROH TV)
Longest Reigning Champion All-Time (1,316 Days)
17-Time PPV Champion
2017 WWE & ROH PPV Grand Champion
