20th Anniversary Play-Per-View Challenge

As long-time forum member Charlie mentioned recently, he created the Play-Per-View game back in July 1999 for WWF's Fully Loaded PPV. That was roughly 20 long years ago. To commemorate this anniversary of Stablewars' longest running game, we wanted to do something special here at the site. We settled on a Play-Per-View Challenge that will encompass every WWE PPV between Summerslam and Survivor Series. Currently five PPVs are scheduled during this time frame.

Challenge Rules
  • You do need to be a forum member to be eligible for the prize. If you are not a forum member, you can register HERE.
  • Enter the Play-Per-View games listed on the above graphic to be eligible for the Challenge.
  • After every Play-Per-View game has been scored, the standings for the Challenge will show who has accumulated the most points so far (sort of like how the Grand Championship is done).
  • The person who has the highest cumulative raw point total from all of the WWE Play-Per-View games between Summerslam and Survivor Series will win the $100 Visa Gift Card.
  • The person who has the second highest cumulative raw point total from all of the WWE Play-Per-View games between Summerslam and Survivor Series will win a $25 credit to prowrestlingtees.com.

Challenge Notes/FAQ
  • You do not need to enter every Play-Per-View game between Summerslam and Survivor Series to be eligible but missing any of the Play-Per-View games will obviously hinder your ability to keep pace with those players that have played in every game.

Note: once the Summerslam Play-Per-View has been opened, this thread will be updated indicating the Challenge has begun. Any other pertinent notes, such as the finalization of the Saudi PPV or any potential changes to the date of the October PPV, will also be posted here. Good luck to everyone that plays.

Yeah might as well.

I bet I can get @wcwchris to pop his head in here.

To sweeten the pot, and because the way it stands right now, coming in 2nd place in this event would be worse than coming in dead last...

The rules are still the same, but the prizes have now changed!

1st place - $100 Visa Gift Card
2nd place - $25 credit to prowrestlingtees.com

Check out some of their AEW gear for 25:

Who's fitting the bill for 2nd place? Is that your idea?

You're right. We need sponsors.

But the 2nd place prize $25 credit to prowrestlingtees.com has been covered by The Ventura Union.

Get Dynatrap to sponsor it and then the prize for whatever position I finish in could be one of the outdoor models...

My good, personal, long time friends Jim Ross and Conrad swear by them, but I have no relationship.

@Franchise This is a really good idea and a really cool event. We need more stuff like this. It’s exciting and I support this 100% and will do my best to stop forgetting to make my damn picks!

Agreed. I have to sign up for some ads to generate operating income for the site and put the PayPal donation thing Suki used to use up again so there's a budget to do stuff like this. Or maybe have the GOLD type of ppv thing where people can pay $5 to enter if they want and the winner gets the prize pool or something. I'm footing this one myself as I have most of the fees to run this site with the exception of some sponsorships I procured before to reimburse myself some of the cost.

Anyhow, this one is for the PPV game strictly but we're gonna do something for the 20th anniversary of this site as well in 2021. Not sure what yet but it will probably include SW and PPV.
