Re: Bound for Glory 2011 Play-Per-View
I think this card on paper looks very good. Roode/Angle should be MOTN, but while I think putting the title on Roode is a good idea, TNA rarely does the "right" thing.
Aries/Kendrick will be a show stealer, Aries is the best X division/cruiserweight in the business IMO. Kendrick tells a great story & his workrate is outstanding.
Style/Daniels I quit match is another top of the show match, both of them will probably almost kill themselves in this match and I hope TNA doesn't resort to the old Mick Foley/Rock "I Quit" finish, that people love to end these matches on.
I'm hoping Morgan/Joe/Crimson is a platform to elevate Matt Morgan(who against much opposition) I think is a very improved talent & world champion material. But it will likely be a platform for Crimson who I hate as much as I like Matt Morgan. Another thing wrong with this match is Joe is probably just there for it & will outwork both of them.
Hogan/Sting? I don't care

Re: Bound for Glory 2011 Play-Per-View
The problem is that no one gives a sh*t about AJ/Daniels, it'll be a good match, but the storyline has been done like 3 times, WITH THE SAME PERSONS! It just don't draw anymore. And Austin Aries is more over than Kendrick because he fights for holding the title with pride, and respecting the title, instead of that Kendrick guy who just sees it as a prop, and throws it around in his hands when he has it. And no one wants to see Hogan/Sting.
Angle/Roode is the only thing done right on this card, and it will draw, but it's still only one match on this card that is build, so that people are interested in it. I would even go as long as saying that the second biggest draw is Bully Ray vs. Anderson, that is the only other match with a great build. It's been building since the week before Destination X in july, and been built slowly in 3 months. One of only two matches done right by TNA.
There will be some good matches, AJ/Daniels and Kendrick/Aries will be great matches, but great matches doesn't draw as much as good story telling, and most wrestling fans (not all), doesn't watch wrestling because of the good wrestling, but because of the storylines. And if people watch wrestling because they want wrestling they don't watch TNA (not all, but most)
That's my problems with this show. (And also a little praise to TNA in the middle)

Hogan vs Sting in a No-DQ match. 'He's hardcore' chants won't be happening when Sting sells a very weak chair shot. Match ends after a shitload of interference.

Since when do we give points for matches that didn't make it on the PPV?
I am the head of the table, pal.
Re: Bound for Glory 2011 Play-Per-View
Winner: Macho Maddness (The Kliq)
Macho Maddess was the only person to score a perfect card and so he wins his first TNA PPV and a DVD. With 10 points for the win he shot up to 3rd place in the grand championship, coming just two point shy of the win. Banzai came into the final PPV of the season with a 5 point lead and was able to hold on by just one point to take home the crown and another DVD. jminshull almost managed to catch Banzai, but ended up in 2nd. Also appearing in the top 10 were: Franchise, Da Mayer, JCF and LiQuid.
The DVD Prize campaign for TNA PPVs has now come to an end. It did not help increase participation as I had hoped so it will not continue into the next season for now. DVDs will still be given away for TNA PPV Grand Championship and TNA Stablewars.

Holy shit! I just realized Banzai won last year's grand championship as well. Two seasons in a row... that's quite an accomplishment. The best TNA PPV player of the last two years.
