The four participants in the Four-Corner Survival match will be determined by singles qualifying matches in Dover, NJ on March 14 & 15. These matches are as follows, with the winners advancing to the Four-Corner Survival match:

• Delirious v. Necro Butcher
• Go Shiozaki v. Brent Albright
• Claudio Castagnoli v. Davey Richards
• Tyler Black v. Erick Stevens

Entries for the Play-Per-View are being closed prior to the first Dover taping to accomodate these matches. Please make your picks here:

Fewer entries this time than for Rising Above, which I'll blame on the lack of a well-defined card. Hopefully Gabe will learn in the future to schedule matches that will affect PPV matches more in advance than just one or two days!

• Nigel McGuinness is an overwhelming favorite to retain the ROH World Championship, with only 2 picks against him.
• Claudio Castagnoli is the favorite to be Nigel's opponent with nearly 40% of the Four-Corner Survival vote going to him. Tyler Black (10) and Davey Richards (9) were neck-and-neck as the man that will take the fall in Four-Corner Survival.
• The Briscoes are the favorites over the Age of the Fall in the No Rules Tag Team War. However, Mark Briscoe (12) got the most votes as the one to take the fall in the match - clearly the pro-Briscoe vote was split among the more numerous AOTF possibilities.
• Roderick Strong & Shane Hagadorn are near 2-to-1 favorites over their respective opponents, Kevin Steen and Bushwhacker Luke. (The Luke/Hagadorn match is already confirmed to be a dark match.)

I will update this thread with the results of the qualifying matches for the Four-Corner Survival over the next two nights.

Delirious & Go Shiozaki. Delirious and Necro Butcher were evenly favored to win the Four-Corner Survival, but Shiozaki's win over Albright is a bit of an upset since Albright was the second choice behind Castagnoli as the winner.

Claudio Castagnoli & Tyler Black. Neither is much of a surprise given Castagnoli is the clear favorite to win the Survival and Black is the nominal favorite to take the fall in the Survival.

March 16th: One of ROH's all-time greatest rivalries is finally going to be on pay-per-view. ROH officials want to showcase the two ROH aces at their best. Today in Philadelphia will be Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries as part of the PPV taping. These two always push each other. Now the stakes are increased as they battle on PPV for the first time. This one promises to be a classic as Danielson vs. Aries finally takes place on PPV. Get your tickets at the door and see this classic rivalry get taken to the next level when Aries and Danielson collide on PPV!!!

OK, gentlemen - other than the tiebreaker, scoring of the PPV is complete. (I'm still waiting for a torrent of the show to be posted on PWT so I can download it in order to time McGuinness v. Black; remember, because I have DTV, I don't have access to ROH PPVs - ironic, eh?)

Congratulations are in order for Killer Karpediem of the Mega Powers as the Play-Per-View winner, and for Matt Sin of the Outsiders for being the only soul to correctly predict Tyler Black as the winner of the Four-Corner Survival (though it wouldn't surprise me if it was just a flat-out guess). ;) Unfortunately for Matt, he only got the gimme of Nigel retaining and the Briscoes beating the AOTF correct in addition, so his big payday on Black wasn't enough to catch Killer or second-place finisher amazingmanderrr.

Be advised that this will be the first PPV to be included in the 2008 ROH Grand Championship standings, which will be updated once the scoring for the PPV is updated to include the tiebreaker.
